The hotel Airone was constructed in 1990 and for the most part renovated in 2007. The family enterprise is well positioned to reach in only a few driving minutes, important villages like Cannigione, Baia Sardinia, Arzachena and the metropolis of the VIP, Porto Cervo. The hotel resembles an antique village, integrated into a natural environment where flowers and olive trees surround the splendid view of the gulf. The bright and welcoming “Stella Maris” congress room, 200 sqm, is an ideal place for small to medium-sized events. The Plenary Room seats 140 people in a semi-circle setting, and has up to 60 school desks. It is also complete with audio-video equipment. The separate entrance from outside allows direct access from the car park, which is also useful for loading/unloading equipment. It's also possible to equip two more rooms inside the Hotel, each with a capacity of 30 to 50 seats. There is also a variety of ways to organize these exposition spaces. With the above characteristics “Stella Maris” can satisfy the touristic and congressional demands of national/international small to medium-sized companies. The success of this area is thanks to the high tourist demand from all over the world.
The restaurant proposes a cuisine of Mediterranean flavours, especially sardinian recipes. To please the palates of the guests, theme nights will also be organised. (Sardinian night, seafood night, etc...)
For any particular diet needs or requirements the chef is available to create gluten-free meals, as well as vegetarian menus. Every morning you can enjoy the rich and genuine breakfast buffet, while at night you can relax and have a drink at the hotel bar, while listening to the background music from the piano-bar.
To visit the Archipelago of La Maddalena, you only need to travel 15 kilometres to reach the port of Palau, where you can take one of the many ferries which depart daily to this unique and rare pearl of nature. In less than an hour you can reach the famous Santa Teresa di Gallura and discover the beauty and authenticity of its rural countryside. Finally, in just 20 minutes, you can walk through the famous town Porto Rotondo, without forgetting to visit the well known Tempio Pausania.
